Polished pieces: I have four pieces but I don't have any directly inspired by mentor text work, and I have a feeling you may not consider "Heads in the Sky" to be a poem. I would urge you to remember that poetry is a free art form and this poem is at the heart of what freedom is, so give it a chance. I would certainly say all of my pieces are compelling (accept my semi-generic Why I Write one).
Writers Memo's: I have included everything you could want in a memo!
Letter from one writer to another: I think my letter is decently funny and good enough to read. I think that some of the pieces I have done in this class were my best yet and I thank you for the inspiration.
List of books: My list of books isn't very impressive but I am a slow reader and like to enjoy books in small morsels.
Unifying element: I have everything linked to the letter----shnazy right!
