I know over the semester it has seemed, at times, like I have my Head in the Sky. But overall I have, for the most part, Escaped the Darkness of my laziness. In your class I loved the daily lines and prompts that kept my writing ideas flowing. Over the course of the semester I mainly learned to trust my instincts when it comes to writing. I am very happy with my poignant titles and my varying tones. I feel now more than ever that I able to let the writing flow through me instead of dragging it out piece by piece. Overall I had a great time in class, but if I were in charge I would try to make it a workshop based class. That may have been your intentions with the writers groups and the weekly share, but I feel the feedback for the on screen presentations was never very helpful. Don't allow yourself to be Shackled to approved methods and teach the way you would want to be taught! In the end I would truly like to thank you and say that you have reminded me of Why I Write.
Have a great summer and thanks again,
Conner Skeen-Gaar
